APEC officials to discuss free trade, November summit in S. Korea
SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) — High-level officials from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum will meet in a South Korean city to discuss global free trade and put the finishing touches on preparations for the APEC summit meeting in November, organizers of the event said Sunday.
The 10-day-long Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM), which kicks off Monday in Gyeongju, will review a draft report on the road map to meet the Bogor Goals of complete trade and investment liberalization, South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said.
