Dear MDM Greece staffs,
We heard a lot about MDM Greece through Dr. Kim and Dr. Jung.
The KFHR(Korea Federation of Activists for fighting for Health rights) is pursuing health right and as a matter of course, the situation in Iraq attracted our concern.
As we mentioned in our previous letter, we raised fund of about 160 thousand dollars, and we already spent 40 thousand dollars for the first medical supply.
In Jordan we contacted many Korean and international NGOs such as MSF, HCO, WHO etc. And we came to know that among these many NGOs, the MDM Greece is also in pursuit of the health right of people.
Dr. Kim and Dr. Jung met your staffs in Jordan. According to their information, we come to the conclusion that cooperating each other is the most effective way to help Iraqi people. Upon this conclusion, we would like to work exclusively and cooperatively with the MDM Greece, and we would like to ask you for corresponding aid.
Yesterday the second team departed Korea, and we are planning to spend another 40 thousand dollars. We will continue the campaign to raise fund for the Iraqi people until June. We want to gather accurate information about health situation of Iraq and would like to supply proper medical aid in appropriate time.
We are planning to send additional medical staff, but the number of the staff and the date are not decided yet. It would depend on the situation in Iraq.
