Dear MDM Greece staffs,
Last weekend, the KFHR and many other NGOs and the Hangyore Press had a meeting and there are some agreements on the plan of our activity in Iraq. So now we can provied you more detailed schedule.
First of all, we would like to reconfirm that our activity in Iraq will be performed cooperatively with MDM greece.
The campaign to raise fund will continue untill end of May.
About medical supply, there is no change that we will spend 160 thousand dollars in total to provide medicines and medical equipments. The contents of the detailed list will be decided by our medical staff in Iraq.
The schedule and members of the third and fourth teams are settled.
The third team will leave Korea on April 30th, and the fourth team on May 15th.
In each team, there will be one medical doctor and one or two supportive members.
In the third team, Dr. Kim Na Yeon can stay for prolonged period. She is a medical doctor, and she is planning to stay in Iraq for at least one month, and may be she could extend her stay untill July
We came to a conclusion that there is a need for a base camp to assist teams in Iraq, to buy medical supplies, and to relay information and decisions between Korea and Iraq. Therefore we are preparing base camp at Amman, Jordan.
About other matters of our activity, we put all detailed matters under the charge our staffs in Iraq and MDM Greece.
